To sum it up in my words: Models in the sense of MDSD are just another form of source code, written in a language that is most suitable for the problem at hand. Working with these languages and models shouldn't be too different from working with plain old general purpose languages. Anything else is a misconception carried over from 1990's CASE tools and OMG's overblown MDA paradigm.</content><link rel='edit' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/24248206/8077964057964206774/comments/default/2431712343497501018'/><link rel='self' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/24248206/8077964057964206774/comments/default/2431712343497501018'/><link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://blog.efftinge.de/2008/07/mdsd-and-dsls.html?showComment=1216132695366#c2431712343497501018' title=''/><author><name>Achim Demelt</name><uri>http://www.blogger.com/profile/02763902119672854676</uri><email>noreply@blogger.com</email></author><thr:in-reply-to xmlns:thr='http://purl.org/syndication/thread/1.0' href='http://blog.efftinge.de/2008/07/mdsd-and-dsls.html' ref='tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24248206.post-8077964057964206774' source='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/24248206/posts/default/8077964057964206774' type='text/html'/></entry></feed>
